[ARCHIVED] In Person Service Closed

Town Facilities Closing

In response to
Larimer County
shifting to Level Red: Severe Risk category Tuesday, Nov. 24 at 5 p.m., the Town of Wellington has made the decision to increase safety precautions for our facilities. Effective Wednesday, Nov. 25 administrative offices will be closed to the public. All Town Hall and Town Annex functions of Customer Service, Utility Billing, and Permitting will return to 100% virtual or drop box payment collection. For Municipal Court, staff will continue to process cases by phone, mail, email and other electronic means when appropriate and residents can contact the Court Clerk by calling 970-568-3381 X 110 to ask questions, resolve a case or have it continued.
Additionally:
>>
Wellington Squad - Larimer County Sheriff's Office
will remain on duty 24/7 but their lobby will be closed to the public.
>> You will likely experience longer than normal wait or response times as we navigate these changes. Town staff are operating in a remote capacity or in split shifts to allow for the 10% capacity determined by Level Red: Severe Risk status. We appreciate your prior planning and patience during this time. We will work diligently to return messages, requests, and permit submissions.
These changes apply to town facilities, not private businesses, which are under the authority of state licensing and regulatory agencies. In the meantime, we urge residents to do what they can to protect themselves and support local businesses.
