Yes. In-home daycares, by state statute, cannot be treated differently than any other residential property. All residential properties conducting home occupations are required to register their home occupations with the Town by completing a general business license - Home Occupation. 

No, Business Licenses are nontransferable and non-assignable. If you sell your business to another entity, that new entity must apply for a separate Business License.

Contractors should complete a Contractor License with the Town. 

In cases in which a business also have a physical address within town limits will be required to complete a business license with the Town for the applicable license type below; 

- General Business License - Physically Located in Town Limits 

- General Business License - Home Occupation
